Nottingham’s original ramen shop, Everyday People, is brought to you by the culinary brains of the award-winning food truck “Homeboys”, set up by Masterchef finalist Pete Hewitt in 2015.
After teaming up with his best friend Yan, they opened the doors to our neighbourhood spot, tucked away down a side street in Nottingham and we’ve been serving high-quality food in a laid-back environment since 2021.
We have proudly gained critical acclaim from the likes of Jay Rayner for The Guardian “Everyday People, Nottingham: Small things done right” as well as Tim Hayward for The Financial Times “Everyday People, Nottingham: I was alone, I was delighted” and the likes of industry heavyweights like Melissa Thompson.
We don’t mind if you’re looking for a quick bowl and a pint of Japanese rice lager, or you’re planning on spending the whole evening with us, ordering a selection of snacks, small plates, cocktails or bottles of wine.

Great little restaurant doesn’t seat many and always has reservations, but worth the wait if you can get a table.

The menu is relatively limited, but that’s a strength rather than a weakness. It shows that the restaurant focuses on doing a few dishes exceptionally well.

It's our favourite place to go in Notts and never disappoints! We've been a fair few times now and every time the ramen is delicious. Even the vegan offering is bursting with flavour.
